no i dont understand either. sounds like lies to me.
yeah it wasnt a great fight. I mean props to him for beating someone with quite a size advantage, but they were both pretty sucky. 90% of the fight he was on the defensive (or doing nothing)
good song, but the bit with the chirping goes on far too long.
id go with 4) you're a *****
but yeah how are you holding them?
hes a toss, but he has good taste in cars. Although I still think the 64 pontiac was the best looking.
well its kind of difficult to judge bruce lees movie fu off a movie he had only shot a small part of before dying.
a lot of them do, but to be honest i would suggest that seeking a bjj/sambo/judo school will get you better instruction than you would get at 90% of kung fu schools.
using the age debate is ridiculous. first of all, how many times do you see 60 year olds getting into fights compared with young guys? I know when I would want to be at my most combat effective....
I would quite happily put money on 100 of thailands top muay thai fighters putting some serious smackdown on japans 100 top aikidoists, or koreas top TKDists. imo, there is such a thing as a style...
yeah, if you can name an art that can reliably deal with multiple opponents, please share.
but yeah, the jack of all trades. watch the top fighters, they all focus on something. royce gracie...
so what kind of intensity was this anyway? how many reps of the jab/cross? kicks? any kind of physical workout (press ups etc)
from what you've said, it sounds pretty bad. forms mean jack. I can...
maybe thats why capoeiraists and tkd guys arent exactly setting the martial arts world on fire ;) grappling is a different story though, you're trying to tie them up not knock them out. trying to...
you know, for a bunch of zen masters i would of thought my poser comment would be like water off a ducks back. no need to get upset guys ;)
no offense dude, but what a poser. wasnt there a discussion about the kind of people who go around training in public, especially while wearing their karate/kung fu/whatever get up, and how they...
what the F*CK have you been smoking? heres an idea- go create a fighting tournament that allows all styles and a few rules so that fighters dont go home on stretchers. observe what kind of kicks are...
ive seen people get punched hard all over, not seen one of them die though. conclusion? its BULLSH*T!!!!
I was just going to comment on that. you want a dull heavy thud from the bag, not a smack. and pushing does not equal power, bending the bag in half does. and if you hadnt noticed, all good MA use...
just to clarify, it is a MT kick. I practice kung fu and MT, and I find MT kicks are just plain better so thats what I use. my sifu agrees, and we are starting to teach people MT round kicks as...
I did wonder, because theres a guy at kung fu who says you shouldnt be on the balls of your feet when throwing a roundhouse. I didnt understand why he thought this- I do MT as well as KF, and my MT...
couple of questions-
1. do you have your support leg straight or slightly bent
2. when you do a roundhouse kick, do you pivot on the ball of your foot? if not, how do you get the support foot...
I have to echo the sentiments earlier on in this thread and say WHAT A BUNCH OF GIRLS BLOUSES. its a MOVIE for f*cks sake, not a documentary. as for this whole racism thing, give me a break. Are you...
lollerskates. you guys are like, modern samurai!
its all very well but when the fists start to fly, you're going to wish you werent built like a 12 year old girl.
ummm.... did I say we used a bow and arrow stance in muay thai? I said it was the same basic stance but we stand higher.
