I use it regularly and have not caught teh AIDS yet.
Didn't Yang Chen Fu start later in life too? If I remember right he didn't show much of an interest in taiji when he was younger, but got into it later in life.
I practice both the Eight Section Brocade and the Yang Short Form daily. However, I practice the Eight Section Brocade only once while I go over the form at least three times.
Have I seen any...
Brush knee and push...lots and lots of applications from this posture.

thanks, I'll try that
I was going to put this in the chi kung/meditation thread but felt it may be more appropriate here since it has to do with health.
Just wondering if anyone knows of any specific chi kung methods...
I disagree. What is "not so martial" about the form when CMC was know as not only a healer but great fighter as well. Some of CMC's students include William CC Chen and TT Liang who were also known...
Great! Thanks for the info!
Popping noise in the knee? Even tho it doesn't hurt I hope you're not causing any damage to your knees. This is why finding a teacher is so important, you may be doing something wrong during the...
where is it going to be held?
I would actually try and find a teacher. It is very difficult to learn taiji from a book or video. There is alot of stuff that you will miss out on if you don't have a teacher.
Yes, CMC taught the Yang style...although he modified it by taking out some of the repititions in the long form. He was a student of Yang Chen Fu who as you know was the grandson of Yang Lu Chan...
