The answer is yes.
Our modern process can give as much better blades then those of the past.
That said, a work of art is a work of art.
I think he means that it is "Kimura Sensei", not the other way around.
For a beginner, any decent blade is good enough, considering the mess that will be done to it, LOL !
Paul's practical katana is a good choice for any beginner and affordable too.
