We share a school with a Kenpo group, and spar with them from time to time. I've found it can be tough to merge good (or in my case "decent") Kung Fu techniques with the faster/lighter sparring done...
Had to reprazent for Heidi.
And here I thought this was going to be a thread about Grand Theft Auto: Vice City :D
Seriously though, this does look bad-a$$
Hung Gar for the last year, and having a great time!
About 4 years of Kenpo (modified Tracy system) before that,
1.5 years of JKD before that (Filipino weapons rock :D ),

I just can't get past the sh i tty production, and Hetfield just sounds, I don't know, like he's trying too hard to sing.
Still, St. Anger's probably a step in the right direction. Until the next...
Spiderman? Eh, why not?
Pai Lum has a Katana form, does that count? :)
But if you're talking about Chinese swords that are similar to Katanas, isn't the Goose Feather sword pretty close? Although that may only have...
I think a lot of MA schools attempt to teach self defense, but do it an a very unrealistic fashion.
For example, learning to defend against a lapel grab where the attacker just walks up, grabs...

It's one of the...
Well, I'm not the guy who sent the actual email to Strong Bad, but yes, that's where I got the name.
Here's some of my favorites, you can usually find them cheap at Suncoast or Best Buy -
Chinese Super Ninja (aka Five Element Ninja)
Kid With The Golden Arm
Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang
Oh... my... God....
Apparently, it's bad form to interrupt someone while they're showing off with nunchaku. :D

1. "Filipino Martial Arts" by Dan Inosanto -
Sweeeeeet. Chock full of great illustrations, tactics, techniques, and history. One of my most prized books.
2. "Indonesian Fighting Fundamentals"...
"Skills of the Vagabonds" by Dr. Leung Ting -
Shoddy quality, and what little MA is in there is laughable. The rest is cheesy magic tricks and stealth tips. I found it while moving a few months...
I've got Clugston's first release as well, can't remember what he was calling his system back then. It's not bad, better for beginners though.
