All I see is boxing. No bong sau tan sau fook sau lop sau. This is all striking to me.
Exactly so
"Wing chun requires that the mental be ahead of the physical. It is a system to develop skill, not a style.
...When wing chun is trained to a high level, there are no techniques." - Hawkins Cheung....
Didnt Kimura beat one of the Gracies a long time ago?
And yet if I got the chance to throw someone in a fight, he would get thrown...The real question is are you fighting or doing wing chun?
Yes, I do. I am learning Kali.
Yes unbalancing is part of many martial arts. In Japanese martial arts this is often referred to as Kuzushi. I am sure in Chinese Arts of Bagua and Shuai Jiao they seek to unbalance. Even in VT there...

One thing my teacher always stresses is that a lot of VT presupposes that your opponent will use VT. This is the fallacy I see.
Can I get that 40 seconds of my life back? What has Shawn Obasse been eating?

Can you tell me the order in which to watch your videos?
Looking forward to watching it.
Thanks! Great information
I understand that some may not like Hendrik's videos but it's not Festivus so please no more with the airing of grievances. If you don't them dont watch them. Its that easy and simple. I for one...
I dont think Hendrik's videos and this video are about the same things. Hendrik's videos to me seem to be theoretical. This video is about fighting tactics.
In my opinion 30 minutes is not a long...
Sounds like chain punch city to me...ugh
Not sure what you mean by abstract ideas arent very clear because we cannot see them. Must be a martial arts thing. Take algebra, the distributive property. a(b + c) = ab + ac. It's an abstract idea...
The Dog Brothers...haha
I dont think Tan Sau (only ) trains the punch. What a tan sau is to me: it takes the line, it's an entry, its a limb break ( in conjunction with another hand ), it releases a wrist grab, it redirects...
Awesome video. I seldom see non Yip Man Wing Chun. I really enjoyed the Chi Sau. I picked up a few concepts...
I dont know so much about boxing but I always thought speed bag was for speed, the heavy bag for power and conditioning and well the wooden dummy is not a punching bag at all. If one wants to punch...
