I believe essentially it was/is Kosen judo.
Kosen Judo tended to focus mainly on newaza. It ws a pre WW2 form of judo.
(This isnt really a "style" per say. Although different schools or sects have different ways of practicing it. )
Has anyone heard it being practiced outside of Asia?

I think alot of martial art systems became less martial over the centuries. Mainly becuase they werent be continously used in hand to hand fighting as often. China had long periods of wars...
To add. Its also good to have street fighting experience or at least get books written by those who had street combat experiences like from law enforcement officers, bouncers, prison security guards...

I would be extremly cautious of using cinnabar. From what I see in the formula the dosage seems extremly high.
It would be good Janet if you actually have pictures of the various meridians you mention. It makes it alot easier for those who are not familar to comprehend.
