The new IKF
I'm a student of GM Yee..why don't you name your sifu, and your location, and we can meet to discuss your issues, Guo?
Sorry to add to this thread with my low post count, but Guo, if you hate lum sang's pai so much...LEAVE US ALONE!!
If you have ANY interest in spm at all, you owe it to yourself to see Yee sifu in action. He is an amazing martial artist, and if you go with an open mind, you can learn a lot from him.
Thanks for the link, its not easy to get info on LYS pai these days.
Sifu Henry Poo Yee is in Houston, I don't have the address handy, but I do highly recomend you go see him.
Hi all
I am about to contact a xing yi instructor, but unfortunately I dont know much about the system....can anyone give me some ideas on what I should ask him? His sifu is very well...
Great article you linked......your sifu sounds like quite a man.
good post..I never really thought about it that way.
lol@Gene
That explains the sex issue :)
good idea
Well, I guess all you can do is ask him. I'd still like a more in depth description of his kung fu, though.
Thats interesting......I could be wrong about Lee Kok Leung's style, but Im interested in what his energy looked like? Have you asked him about his kung fu?
To my knowledge, Lee Kok Leung does Kwong Sai Jook Lum Mantis, the same style as Grandmasters Mark and Poo Yee. Most masters I have seen perform do have differences in their techniques.
I was lucky...at 19 I trained to be an emt..had to do rotations in an ER, changed my thinking about fights a bit.
The twisting root is similar to what I do.....err, try to do.

Good overview on Chow Gar Tong Long, and links to some australian schools.
Headed there now, 4/3 10:50pm est
Awesome....grats man
Very interesting about the names. The Gene Chen in the book was actually a sifu of both chen taiji, and chu gar spm. He also published some articles before he passed, I believe.
Its been awhile, but I think that was the late Gene Chen.
WOW, and to think I stopped posting here after the SPM fiasco on the southern forum. Well, I'm less mature than I was then, I suppose...so if da shifu reads this, feel free to email me with the same...
Reread my first post you illiterate ****. I will be the first to admit that my knowledge is limited, and I stated that. My second post was directed at the questions Mr. Richards asked me, as your...
Unfortunately I do not know the name of the original form that we were discussing. I will check my notes from my training days to see if I have any more information that I'm forgetting. The fact that...
Hi all,
I'm new here, although I recognize some people I have communicated with privately about spm. My background is in one of the branches under Lum Sang, although I have not trained...
