Wow i would love to have a copy of that video myself. I've only got him doing SLT (the one when he does 6 punches at the end).
Cheers,
Thanks Sekabin for the pic, appreciate it! :)
The reason some schools practice the first section of SLT with tension has nothing to do with chi sau or positioning, its just a training method to...
Can anyone that has that book try scanning the pic and posting it? :D
Nice pic it is. Makes a case for lower tan sau and tension during first SLT section.
Cheers
Hey does anyone have a digital copy or a link to that famous pic of Yip Man doing tan sau with the iron rings?
Cheers,
Ah, the slapfest video. Great stuff. *chuckle*chuckle* :D
Thanks for the reply Phil. I have that tape, it has a short clip of him doing the Chum Kil at the end of the tape, but it's only a few seconds long. There's also some short footage of the dummy form...

Hello,
I've noticed that there are many tai chi teachers who have studied with master Chu King Hung in the UK. Is master Chu King Hung still actively teaching? and if so, where?
Cheers,
Ultimate Wing Chun > Is your website down? Anyway i just wanted to ask you what systems of grappling you train in?
Cheers
you don't need to know any Wing Chun history to use it. Save your time and use it to train.
Good video, always nice to see Wing Chun people applying their art. Not much Wing Chun there though, was there? No bong sau, no tan sau. Just chain punching back and forth. Hmmm. Quite a few of those...
Strengthens the elbow joint, tricep and bicep tendons. It's a qigong aspect.
Maybe because Wing Chun players practice sparring against other Wing Chun players? If you're not used to dealing with roundkicks, western boxing, grappling... you're going to struggle against those...
I downloaded the bruce lee lap sao clip and a few others from kazaa over a month ago now i think.... you guys arent missing much.
Is it worth buying these videos just for the Yip Man footage? How long is he on screen for?
Are you talking about Yip Man? Which video clip/s???
Those video clips of Yip Man sifu are pretty cool
Does anyone know if there are any more on the net? Maybe some longer clips?
Also, are those clips taken from a commercially available...
hehe, Syria maybe, North Korea, not bloody likely :p
Hehe, actually i do. That wasn't my point sir. I was drawing attention to the usefullness of your post. It sounded like you were dismissing SJ's post. Not very nice. My apologies if i misunderstood....
Is this DVD going to be made commercially available??? If so when is it scheduled for release?
Don't you know if you study karate for 7 years you can handle 5 guys at the same time?!!!!!
