For the most part, I agree, but I think Zuffa's downfall is greed. They're trying to make up for how much they lost rescuing the UFC. They made MMA what it is today (for the most) but they're trying...

I looked up both of their profiles on Sherdog and 'Rodrigo' has the nicname Minotauro and 'Rogerio' has the nickname Minotoro....:o

That's ghey! First their parents give them the same first name...

If you actually look at the fight card on the link I posted you would see for yourself.

...about half way down, it does say Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, but under it, 'Minotoro'.

Just sayin' that on the fight card and on the show he was announced as 'minataro', that's all.;)

So Affliction is basically Pride without all the people who jumped to the UFC when Zuffa bought them out.

I've noticed the use of Tan, Fook, Jum, Guan, Lan, Gum...I use Yap and Bong Gurk alot...and some kwan sau and Po pai movements.;)

Just keep the eye contact to a minimum.;)

I was rooting for Serra...but it's obvious that GSP is younger and sharper at the game.

I liked how in the pre-fight interview GSP said there is no such thing as a lucky punch...

I end up using pak da alot because one of my usual sparring partners is/was a boxer. Against kickers and grapplers it doesn't come out so much.

True, the stance is more a platform for training than a fighting stance, but it does contain attributes you will use in a fighting stance....hence, why it's called a training stance.

The time I spent working on pak sau entrys and 'trapping' techniques gives me considerable skill in counter-striking when I spar.;)

In fact, when I spar, pak sau is probably my most used...
