What about the style portrayd in jackie chan movies?

I believe it is called Se Yin Dil Sao or something like that

Yeah, like the others have mentioned, many systems include snake forms within them, but most actual separate snake styles of kung fu are modern creations (often contemporary wushu).

Hungar, Choy Li Fut and other Southern Chinese Kung Fu methods have interesting snake forms in them as do more modern creations such as Cuong Nhu (a recent Vietnamese style of martial art), and Wing Chun is sometimes said to be a combination of Southern Chinese Snake & Crane techniques. The Korean art of Kuk Sool Won, which seems to be a combination of Korean Hapkido and Chinese Kung Fu also has animal forms including the snake.

Yes as mentioned, Snake is taught within a system. Much like Phoenix fist and Red Fist. Some of the smaller systems got merged into the more common systems. Our style is Northern Long Fist and Southern 5 Animal is taught at the black belt level.

This is the form we learn. My sifu is performing this while training in Taiwan. Sorry for the quality, this was taken with a VHS camera the old school way.

Jackie Chan made that up for the movie. Like I said, it's fake.

usually, the five animals are more as$ociated with Southern Gung-Fu rather than Northern. It has been my experience that most Northern animal sets are recent creations.

There was a well known sifu that taught Sei Ying Diu Sau in Hong Kong. I would have to ask my sifu his name as I forgot it. I know he passed away awhile ago but the style itself was real (not what jackie did in the movies) and it was a snake style if you will.

The name of the Sifu was Leung Kar Fung. My sifu said he had a well-known school in Hong Kong but the last time he was near it, it was no longer there. The sifu passed away some time ago but my sifu thinks he might have some students that might still teach but not many. The sei ying dil sau system he taught was a northern snake system.
