    It's a small world!

    I just thought this was funny. Yesterday I learned that Chris Brennan's younger brother goes to my school. I attend college at the University of Southern California. For those that don't know, Chris Brennan is a Bjj expert and noted professional fighter. He and guys on the fight team he assembled compete on a pretty high level (UFC, Pride, etc). So anyway, yesterday I'm lifting weights in the gym and I see this blond guy working out. He's wearing a sweater with Brennan's school logo on it. To me its always interesting to run into other MMA peeps out in public so I go up to him and ask him if he trains with Chris Brennan. I was just gonna say "Yeah, well good stuff man." and go on with my workout but then he tells me "Yeah, well I'm his brother Zack." Then I'm like "No $hit??" Then we shoot the $hit for a bit. He tells me a little about his experience and his team's plans. I tell him I have grappling experience and that I compete Muay Thai. Blah blah blah and I eventually go back to working out and then leave. What's funny is that another person in the wight room also took note of the Bjj stuff he was wearing and asked him about it too. So I've learned a couple things: First of all, there's a lot more people around me that know/know about functional martial arts than I might've thought! And second of all, its a small world. Oh well, that's my story.

    i was at the airport in Kunming, Yunnan, China washing my hands in the bathroom. i turned around and ran into my sifu from the year before in Dujiangyan, Sichuan, China. Small world indeed...

    Hah That's pretty cool, both Zack and Chris seem like standup guys.

    He's on the fight team right? If all goes well i'll meet him and Chris in about 2 months give or take

    Funny the people you meet when you least expect it...

    I was beating off to some Asia Carrera porn last night when who should come through my window but Adolf Hitler! I'm like, "Hey, Adolfus, I thought you were dead" and he's like, "Nah, just hiding out before I start the whole 'kill the Jews' thing again" and I say, "Seems like it's a small world after all, want a Coke or something?" and he answers, "How about a beer?" and I say okay, no problem.

    Then I go to my room, retrieve my 9mm, steal back into the living room and blow his medulla oblongata into a pink mist while he's got Asia and P.J. Sparxx on super slow-motion and weeping over a crumpled picture of Eva Braun.

    Then I scream incoherently at the splash of brains over the television screen: "My brother in-law is a Jew, you Nazi rat f*cking ba$tard!"

    Yeah it's small alright. Last night my wife's tahoe wouldn't start. We had to call a tow truck. The tow truck driver turned out to be the same one that towed my car a few months ago on the other side of town. He had even changed companies.
