A word of advice--

if you really want to learn kung-fu, I'd say consider going to college/relocating to a location that offers more in the way of CMA instruction.

Alternatively, you should be aware of the fact that a lot of really good kung-fu lurks just out of sight and in the oddest of places. It might take a lot of work to find a truly reputable sifu/kwoon, but if you're serious about learning some kung fu, ask around. You might be surprised at what you find.

Oh, and you said you don't want to worry about looking good... well I hate to tell you, but that's all Wushu is! It's a performance art. That's why so many kung fu movie stars have trained most of their lives in Wushu.
