Question from a new student
I just started training in January, studying under Shawn Liu Xiangyang here in Alabama. I'm having a great time and I'm in constant pain at the same time, but I was a little curious about something...
My training seems to be very mixed... one day we'll do Wushu stuff, the next day Shaolin forms and applications, the next day some Sanshou.
Is this common? Technically, it's a Shaolin Kung Fu course, but I guess whatever gets me in shape..........

Quite common, the wushu stuff is increasing your stamina, coordination and flexibility, the forms and applications teach you the movements and how to use them while the san shou is the time to try and apply those techniques. Have fun!
