Jackie Chan on the Dummy in Rumble in the Bronx

I just watched that movie again tonight. I think it's my favorite Jackie Chan movie. Anyway, what do all you WC experts think of his form on the dummy in the beginning?

And then again on the weird dummy in Gorgeous?

Flashy Cr*ap. The only Wing Chun was the dummy itself.
That said, I do like Jackie Chan's films immensely. He is a lot of fun to watch.

Well I know that young lad struck his dummy badly as he hurt his hand.

Don't know about the wing chun, but it looked like he was having fun Theres also a clip of Jackie using the dummy (a metal one!) in Gorgeous (i watch that movie for Shu Kei only ).

What about the dummy clip in Prodigal Son? How much is that like WC? How much can someone who has only trained briefly in WC portray on screen, or even in real life?

    just some thoughts,

Peace is not the product of terror or fear.
Peace is not the silence of cemeteries.
Peace is not the silent result of violent repression.
Peace is the generous, tranquil contribution of all to the good of all.
Peace is dynamism. Peace is generosity.
