    Post Gypsy NUTCASES!!!!!

Sorry for the title campers, but they are.

My UFC-loving friend showed me this XXX-rated video, and *shock* it wasn't "Donkey does Dallas 3".

I've seen this stuff on Sky before, but only censored. It's amateur fighting, mainly in the underground gypsy scene of London.

It was brutal. Like, these guys were ugly before, but man. Eek.

Things I learned from watching it:

    1) Never, EVER fight a gypsy. Or anyone who looks like one. Or ever fight in a true ungloved NHB tournament or any suchlike event. Period.

    2) These guys punched vertical-fist. Why I don't know, as one interviewee was a boxer. Except for a couple of fine crosses.

    3) Grappling didn't seem to work. It was all kicking at shins and jabbing from a distance. Close-in really didn't seem to occur. Saw one good elbow. They all seemed to wary of their opponant to get close. One guy went for a clinch and got laid to the ground with a hook to the jaw.

    4) Grappling CAN work. The only other stuff on their was a guy who went for a tackle, took the guy clean and pummelled t'other guys face. He gave up after about 2 seconds, but looked like he'd been face-fucked by a freight train.

    5) Fights are messy. I'm talking mangled. One guys eye seemed to explode all over his face. Minging.

    6) Kicking the shins is a viable tactic apparantly. And scraping the shins with your boot. My UFC-loving, mule-wanking friend says it's a Savate tactic, but as the French are a bunch of pussies I disagree.

All in all, a sick but useful video. Better than "Jenna loves Rocco" anyway.

    Thumbs up

    Illegal and suspicious?
    Something you forgot to add.
I´m in no ways against different culture or such but in here gypsy rooted people are known well for crime&disturbance.
    This cannot,hopefully,be like that everywhere&in everyone,no generalisations.

BTW,shin kicks are a viable technique, simple and practical.
It is taught for reason in basic self-defense and such arts as that of military and jujutsu recognize it all the way down to shin scraping which some consider effective, some not so.

Oh hell yeah, it's all illegal [I think].

Over here they're notorious for a hardcore minority of them who cause trouble.

Not all the fighters were gypsies I don't think/presume, but it looked like it was organised by them. The infamous ones of the 80's were very similar.

Have you ever copped a few good ones to the shin? You can barely stand up after a while. DEFINITELY a viable tactic.

Kicking the shins is also a technique used in t'ai chi. It is called a "lift" but the target is the shins.

Okie...having been chased by Gypsies quite a few time and outrunning them (or I wouldn't be here) I have to say BEWARE of Gypsies...they are NEVER unarmed...they are PROS at everything touching knives, throwing included. I have witnessed knife tactics from them in which they wobble around with their arms dangling and the knives hidden by their forearms...you never know what arm hides the knife, because they exchange it like card tricks...
It looks real silly, but it's scary (and surprisingly ressembling the white crane attitude of waiting for an attack, which is also related to wielding knivs hidden in your boots or behind your forearm...talk about convergence and selective pressure). You can't block, they expect you to do that so you will cut yourself on the blade they hide.

As for the shin kicks, only guys who have been in real heated fights realize the importance of stop kicks of all kinds to the legs from feet to knee...a karate sensei I know who would spare NHB challenge matches back in the 50s againsts judokas, boxers and wrestlers eventually realized that the only thing he'd forbid in the rules would be stop kicks (but he didn't: it was he who brought karate to Europe, and back in the days none of his challengers would use their legs that way...he also had a background of 20 years of savate, so his own legs were never in real danger)...he told me he was surprised how easily knees and shin and ankle break...or take away the will to fight...
He trained a guy from the Cuban political police, and the first thing he ever taught him was stop kicks, for three months, only stop kicks.
And no, Thai boxers wouldn't laught at you. Defending with the shin against another shin coming from the side is what they do. Stop kicks involve mostly linear kicking (not circular, although some exist) and the paramount difference is that the striking limb is a foot, not another shin...even more important, a foot in a shoe most of the time. Makes hell of a difference. C. Diabate; french Muai Thai champ (he defeated Rick Roufus) who now went to Free Fight, places savate with MT and free fight in the hardest combat disciplines (he has a good savate background). I was surprised and asked him why (he trains 500 meters away from my place)...he just said "kicking with shoes man...it changes the way of kicking, defending and the fighting distance and timing so much that the simple fact of wearing shoes on makes it a killer art".
Guys, believe it, train your stop kicks diligently, recklessly...no one can punch you if they can't get past your legs...and you may prevent many blood spills (your's or other's) by just making a guy's legs hurt so much he lost any will to fight and will gladly let you go away...
Watch out for these suckers trying to double leg throw you though heheheheheh
    Risk 0 doesn't exist.

Holy crap DS, judging from this and your answers on the Kung Fu Blackbelt UFC thread, I have come to the conclusion that you watch more porn than I do. That's quite a feat

Re: Gypsy's, yep, horrifying. Ever read the Lenny Maclean book? He was the hardest man around in the 70s, but even he had a few problems with the gypsy fighters. They were just man-monsters.

Yep gypsys are MAd.....I could tell you some really bad gypsy storys but thats a whole other thread.

I do not belive that gypsy bare knuckle fighting is illegal....i belive its only underground as it is driven by betting which is illegal!!

Also i have seen some gypsy fights on video and it looked to me (i did not see any shin stamps) like they held off and did not throw many punches ....probably trying not to breack there hands....but when they did punch it was very fast very hard and with very high rates of clean knock outs!!!!

I also have a friend who has on occasion trained with some gypsy fighters and keeps telling me that we can go to a fight some time soon!!!

Oh yes....keep clear of gypseys....if your a gypsy then your nothing to them or any other gypsy.
LOL.. really, what else did you hear?.. did you hear that he was voted Man of the Year by Kung-Fu Magizine?
