    KFM + Wulin

    Hi Gene,

has there been any thought on, or have you ever considered getting parts of Wulin magazine translated and published in English?

We actually have done so in the past. We did a few co-op articles where they gave us permission to reprint and translate something of theirs. We may still do more in the future. However, it's worthy of note that a lot of Wulin articles do not translate very well. Their pics are more what we are after.

    Hi Gene,

thanks for the reply. I think you're right that some of the articles in Wulin are difficult to translate, or just uninteresting in terms of text. But, I think there'd be a market for much of the material related to the internal arts. For example, the recent articles that talked about the relation of tongbei, xingyi and Chen style. Some might be interested in those sort of articles and the historical stuff. Anyway, it was just an idea.

    Respects,
    Esteban

    definately!

It's a great magazine, no doubt! It's just a lot more work for us to get that stuff, more so than so much of the material that we publish since it is readily provided for us. But we might again someday.
