deathlift could be that last rep you're working on when muscle failure is your goal.
what you're looking for is a deadlift. basically, have a barbell (with weight, of course) on the floor in front of your feet. with slightly bent knees, lean over and pick it up. keep the weight on your heels and your back straight. you're done with the motion when you're standing straight up, the bar is in front of your package and your shoulders are back.
and, like washing your hair, lather, rinse, and REPEAT.
