This one looks way better than part 2, from the trailers. I had sworn off any future Transporter movies after part 2, but I'll probably see this one for the heck of it. And I do agree, Doug, that Corey Yuen's choreography is much better when he directs women. (Except for DOA, but even there Jaime Pressley looked good). IMO his best film, as director (and maybe also as choreographer) was So Close. None of the three women in that are martial artists, yet they pulled it off (with good help from Yasuaki Kurata). Yuen might have a hit if he could film a good U.S. or better yet, European production with a female lead or leads. Hopefully not a movie based on a video game.

yeah he did good in so close and also did good with the little stuff he did in red cliff. corey like yuen woo ping has a signature style when u wath his stuff you know its him weather thats a good thing or not remains to be seen. i mean the under cranking thing really bothered me in the first fight cause it was way to much. but it got better. but corey use's the same moves in every movie so all his begin to look the same. the whole tying the arms up and all that mess was great when he was first doing it but now come on gotta get inventive find something else. but people were whooping it up like it was the best **** since sliced bread so idk, whatever works i guess.

    The Transporter Legacy

I decided to merge the Transporter thread with the transporter 3 thread (never was a Transporter 2 thread - must not have impressed anyone here ).

There's a new movie in the works, along with a TV series, all sans Statham.

‘Transporter’ TV Series to Air on TNT in Fall 2014

Chris Vance as The Transporter Transporter TV Series to Air on TNT in Fall 2014

Never change the deal. No names. Never open the package. Those are the rules that courier-for-hire Frank Martin abides by without question, which of course means that they got broken not long into the running time of Corey Yuen’s 2002 action film The Transporter, which starred Jason Statham as the lead and was followed up with two sequels and a TV series.

Transporter: The Series features British actor Chris Vance (Prison Break) in the role of Frank Martin and has already aired in a number of countries, including Germany, France and Canada. As French-Canadian studio Atlantique Productions gets ready to shoot the second season next month, TNT has announced that US audiences will get to see the show as well.

Originally commissioned by French network M6, the first season of Transporter: The Series will arrive on TNT in fall 2014. Vance may already be familiar to TNT viewers, as he starred in a recurring role as Lt. Col. Charles “Casey” Jones in the detective series Rizzoli and Isles.

Andrea Osvárt as Carla in Transporter: The Series

The first season of Transporter: The Series has apparently been in a success in the countries where it’s aired, and for the second season Frank Spotnitz is taking over as showrunner. Spotnitz is probably best known among geek circles as one of the writers and producers of The X-Files, and his more recent projects include action drama series Hunted and Strike Back.

Transporter: The Series was originally supposed to air on Cinemax, but the network eventually dropped it entirely. Screen Rant readers were a little underwhelmed by the trailer that was released last year but it’s probably worth at least giving the pilot a watch. The show also stars Andrea Osvárt (Aftershock) as Carla, Frank’s handler and love interest, and François Berléand (who starred in the films) as Inspector Tarconi.

Will you be tuning in to watch Transporter: The Series when it airs this fall, or is your TV-watching schedule already booked up?

Exclusive First Look at The Transporter Legacy

    The upcoming Statham-less reboot.

By Jim VejvodaMaybe you hadn't heard, but The Transporter got rebooted. And now we have your first look at it.

The Transporter Legacy sees actor Ed Skrein ("Daario Naharis" on the third season of Game of Thrones) taking over for Jason Statham. His cast mates include Ray Stevenson, Radivoje Bukvic, Gabriella Wright, Anatole Taubman and Tatiana Pajkovic.

Here's the official plot synopsis: "In the criminal underworld of France, Frank Martin (Ed Skrein - Game of Thrones) is known as The Transporter; the best driver and mercenary money can buy. Frank will deliver anything for a price. He abides by 3 simple rules: no names, no questions and no renegotiations.that is until he meets a mysterious and lethal femme fatale Anna (Loan Chabanol), leader of a group of deadly assailants. Stopping at nothing to take down a group of ruthless Russian human traffickers, Anna knows Frank is the best man for the job and holds his father (Ray Stevenson - Thor, Divergent) for ransom to ensure his cooperation. Now Frank and his father are forced to team up with Anna to bring these villains to justice. The Transporter Legacy is a relentless, high octane ride that takes the Transporter franchise to explosive new heights."

Game of Thrones' Ed Skrein is the new Frank Martin The Transporter Legacy.

The movie was directed by Camille Delamarre from a script by Bill Collage and Adam Cooper. Luc Besson and Mark Gao produced it. EuropaCorp will open The Transporter Legacy in wide release March 6, 2015. IGN Logo
