Could be a blood xu condition. Do you get numbness and tingling there sometimes too especially on exertion?

Maybe a little, but I have nerve damage (ulnar nerve) in that hand anyway so tingling is normal. I also noticed that when I let my hand hang to the side for a while, more blood flowed to the area and the yellowness was diminished - however, it's still there. Also, my hands tend to get numb fast in the cold.
It's gone now. Don't know what it was - tried scrubbing it off, which didn't work, so I assume it was something internal. I'll keep an eye on it.
well, it probably has to do with bile
You have Jaundice.
that or you have been masterbating too much.
I haven't masturbated in nearly 2 years. And my hand is still fine. Although it has atrophied from the lack of exercise
Is a bath in order? Actually, sometimes the same happens to me but the color isn't yellow. I thought it might be from doing too much Qigong. Any thoughts??

My hands are purpllish from time to time. Is this a bad thing? Also, my knuckles are always of a darker colour than the rest of my skin.
when ant part of the body has a tendency to be purple this denotes blood stasis. One needs treatment to move and nourish the blood before it develops into a more long term condition. See an acupuncturist or chinese herbalist.
