San Francisco folks

Hi folks,


I heard recently that there was a seminar in 1998 in San Francisco, featuring Wong Shun Leung, Tsui Tseung Ting and Leung Ting. Does anyone know about it? Has anyone a video of this seminar?

I was there. The advertisement did not list Leung Ting. But he was there. The actual seminar was by WSL and TST.
Kenneth Cheung was also there. So was Augustine Fong.
The late Brendan Lai had a booth there. Wang Kiu was supposed to come too..but I did not see him at the SF one. WSL and TST
toured Canada first before SF and then went down to Houston for Jeff Bolt's national tourney. In Houston apart from seminar and judging, WSL and TST did a SLT on center stage with Jason Lau. Jeff Bolt may have a tape of the Houston affair.

Not 1998...it was in the late 80s...88 0r 89 possibly.

The late Brendan Lai? I didn't realize he had passed on. Was it recent?

Yes Sifu Lai died not too long ago- he has been ill for a while.
I hve visited his store several times and have brought things from him . Mrs. Lai is a graceful lady. I feel badly.
Sifu Lai was also a good impressario and helped introduce
quite a few wushu/kungfu folks to American audiences.
