Hi everybody! I want to know if other schools of NSL train the 18 hands form. I found that they do in GangZhow, as GM Lai GanQing, who was YSM classmate, showed the form to my students in 1998. His students showed Luo Hap (Liu Ho) too.

Northern Shaolin and I were comparing lyrics here a while back - use your serach function to see them all. We went through all the forms we had lyrics for. It would be great if you can dig those up and add to them.

Gene, I am afraid that I haven't the lyrics. Living far away from my teacher's home (he lives in Brazil, I live in Argentina, its a two hours trip by plane away) made me miss some important info. I have many things (the chinese writings of all the forms' names, the chinese writing of the 128 movements of the yang tai chi form, etc) but lyrics is something to be discovered yet for me.
I know my elder fellows have many , I will research and when I get them I ll post them here.

Now you can use our lyrics! After all, we're all BSL family and these lyrics are meant to be shared throughout our clan.

As you'll see from the comparisons that NS and I made, there is some variation, but not too much. A lot of it I would attribute to translation variations. If you do get your lyrics, that would really cool to add them to our threads here. Even your comments without the lyrics would be insightful.

We shaoliners like 18, so pretty much every shaolin system has a grouping of 18 techniques, symbolic of Bodhidharma's alledged fighting set.
