The empty hand is basic skills of mantis.
They are taught very quickly.
The weapons take a long time, especially straight sword.

I can view some of the clips quite well. I appreciate your sharing so much of an insight into your pursuit of Tanglang.

However, my browser locks up either during or after each one. Has anyone else run into this problem or is it just my machine?

The clip called running part two.

You may have trouble downloading some of these.
I had to come back after a few failures to get Running Part 2 to work.

-starts with outer hanging hand drill(wai gua shou).
I move forward and then Sean moves in towards me.
As I am about to get hit I throw an unexpected groin kick.
He blocks, same as if blocking my punch, and throws his own kick.
Then we repeat the drill.

Slightly related to the thread called Fanche Lulu.
In that drill we run and kick in the same way, just a different hand technique.

-Next comes Wind at Back of Brain(nao hou sheng feng) thanks to Mantis108.
This is also done a lot in the other clip called "running"
When we both do the technique at the same time it looks very peculiar.
It is just training.

It is a way to add in other techniques.
We only agree to do Wind at Back of Brain, but the next technique we throw is our choice.
In this case it is "avoiding Hardness(duo gang)" technique.

-Finally, Sean does Wind at Back of Brain and I surprise him by taking advantage of his open position to do folding elbow and a hook to the bottom of the jaw bone.

They still link to the clips on Tainan's server but it should pop the video up in your media player, rather than your browser (which will often cause problems with some older or temperamental machines). If all else fails, you might want to try reinstalling your media player. Can't view em' on my work PC so I'll have to wait till I get home. Some of the clips are pretty big so some dialup connections may time-out on them regardless of which links you're trying to access them through. Hope this is useful!

Edit: FYI, these links will probably die next time Tainan re-arranges the video clips on his site.

It was no trouble at all. I have alot of free time at work in front of a computer. I really enjoyed the intent of technique that is being applied in your hand-to-hand drill clip.
