    hmmm - so let's get this straight: hitting someone with their back to you who is not preparing to take a shot on the side of the neck where there are several clusters of autonomic nervous system ganglia that control things like blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate etc. will produce unconsciousness; unprecedented!
