I injured my back a few days ago doing a clean without warming up properly. I had the weight at the top but apparently was not tensing my abs proberly, and at the top of the movement (where the bar just reaches my shoulders) my back bent backwards slightly. It was enough that I could feel it and I dropped the weight, but it was too late. I feel pain or discomfort in the lower curve of my back up and down the spine when I bend over or pick up weights. I don't think its anything serious, but I am wondering if anyone knows anything that will speed up recovery. I am using muscle liniment on it and I plan on abstaining from deads, cleans, squats, etc. for at least two weeks. Are there any stretches I should be doing? I notice I can feel it if I lie on my stomach in the top of a pushup position and let my hips sink to the floor. I also tried some seated rows today at the gym and it felt looser by the end. Any help would be great. thanks,
