    Hung Gar in fighting

I have not heard much about this. Can somebody tell me how people who train in Hung Gar tend to fight? Are they a following opponent's energy/motion art, penetrating through defense /w centerline theories art, or wait for attack and counter art?

I've found that hung gar works with a lot of methods. Since it's often tiger-crane there are lots of totally different methods. Close body blocks and attacks and lots of sweeping deceptive crane hand moves. One genealization I suppose can be made is that Hung Gar is much lower and closer to the opponent than other styles. There's a lot of grappling and traps, breaking through the opponents defence.

I don't take much interst in sparring so I can't help any more than what I've done in two person forms.
