Hey my school in BJJ was awesome. I used to grapple 5 days a week ina 2 hour class. The first half hour was nothing but learning techniques. After that we would grapple for hours. It was a 2 hour class but you could stay as long as you wanted to. I usually went home after about 2 hours of grappling.

Yea a year of doing that really sucks doesnt it

lets not talk about in a school, lets talk about on the street. if some one has a gun to your head and pulls the trigger your dead no matter what you study. what is boxing and what is kung fu, a fist is a fist and can do just as much damage when a nice blow is landed. (i dont know much about boxing) but forms, shadow boxing and what not gives ideas and principals to work with and comes down to a personal liking or disliking. i dont think a style makes a practioner a good fighter, the practioner uses a style to become a better fighter.

to say boxing is better then kung fu is like saying chicken soup is better then kraft dinner, the result is the same just different paths/flavors to get there.
