Question Reflexes and Spirit for gamers

Digerati, Game heads, "Kids" of the Arcade and Console-Age.
I put this question towards you.
After mastering a fighting game, such as: Tekken or Soul Calibur, Virtua Fighter, K1 etc. ,do you believe that there is a translation from the world of bytes into the world of flesh?
Have you gamers experienced better focus while training/sparring after playing a game that you have considerable skill in?

N.B. : This question is not asking if people mimic moves from thier favourite video game characters.

I think some study showed that computer games do improve eye-hand coordination and reflexes. I can't remember what it said about the degree of improvement though.

I see my master seated in Paradise and Paradise is beautiful and green; with him are men and boy servants.
He calls me. Take me to him.

As a teenager, I used to play this racing game at the mall called Final Lap. Two friends and I played that game constantly because we could race each other at the same time. I bet I spent $500 in that game.

On at least 5 separate occassions, I have lost control of my vehicle (snow, traffic, etc.) and have never crashed. I credit my ability to regain control of my vehicle to the hours I spent playing that game.
