And I think its a load of crap. Why? Read this:

you know, I was a PhD candidate in experimental psych and we spent a lot of time researching this sort of stuff - word order, spelling and such - you can go nuts with that kind of research. It's somewhat encouraging, since our staff is mostly ESL and spelling errors are common here. Spelling errors makes it more authentic kung fu.

Notice the word I highlighted? Interestingly this is the only word that caused me to pause momentarily while reading and that's because it's a spelling mistake. Bizarre.

Exactly right - I read it as impotent and that's what tripped me up for a second.
