    Sun Yu Feng

As I know there are several people on this forum who are interested in Sun Yu Feng, you might like to check out this link that I found for a some minor but fun details of his history. There are a few intriguing things that I hadn't come across before, plus his photo, (for those of you who haven't already seen it), and other info, mostly Choy Lay Fut related.

Thanks Graculus but buddhapalm sent me this before your post.

Interesting fact about the 'Feng Brothers' because SYF never liked to discussed his past with his students.

However, here is a side story to add to the mystic of the Feng Brothers: SYF once saved Kuo Yu Chang's life when his top disciple slammed a sledge hammer on top of the rock that was placed on the head of KYC. When the hammer came smashing down and shaddered the rock, it also injured KYC's head. Blood instantly poured out and the bleeding would not stop, inspike (sp) of everyone's attempt to stop the bleeding. The bleeding was so much, KYC personal thoughts as he laid on the stage was that he was not going to make it. His body felt cold and his face turned pale and the blood continued to flow.

SYF was in the crowd and as he watch all attempts fail to stop the bleeding, he decided to help. He offered his assistance and right a way he started to rub certain healing points around the neck and head. He took out some crushed herbs and blew it over the wound. With a wave of his hand over KYC's head, the bleeding stopped immediately and KYC was able to live another day.

Thanks for sharing that story Northern Shaolin, a very interesting insight into both men.

Given that they were both in roughly the same area of China at that time, (and working for government sponsored institutions/ initiatives) I guess it should be no surprise that they had met, but this is the first time I had heard any stories involving them both.

If you have any more similar anecdotes, I would love to hear them
