Thread: [Food] Natural food to add to my workout

  1. #16
Depends on how the chicken is prepared, but generally it will have a good deal more fat than tuna. Mayo usually makes up for this.

Ham is OK although fatty. Cheese isn't bad, but again it is fatty.

If you go with peanut butter, go with the organic kind.

I meant between chicken and turkey.
I know tuna is leaner than both. Until you add mayo to it.

I think those two are relatively the same, but the turkey has more useable protein.

It's called, biological value. When you look at the side of a milk container and see "8g protein/serving" that doesn't mean you are getting 8g protein. I forget milk's BV, but let's say it's 75% then the amount of actually protein is 6g. I don't recall what exactly goes into determining BV. I know turkey has more protein/oz and more BV than chicken though.

for dinner, i eat a lot of pasta and meat sauce because the carbs are good before a workout, and the meat has the protein as well. hmm, turkey sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, i ate a detour bar once for 30g of Protein, but, i also have a question. if i want to avoid fried foods, greasy foods, and fatty foods, wut do u recommend are good things to have for dinner? i eat pasta but like im not gonna eat it 7 days a week...chicken i dont always have, salads half the time, wut else is there for dinner?

i stay away from the whey protein too...i feel like im cheating by using that and it doesnt feel natural. i like eating natural foods to keep my body natural/organic, with the exception of a detour bar i once ate...that **** wasnt too good though...and...whats Setan? 80g of protein?!?! im bout to eat that all the time once i figure out what it is! and ima start eating nuts and **** but...i also wanna look out for pimples cuz i like to look pretty ....heLP!!!!!

What blood type are you? That would help dictate what protien rich foods would be best for you to develop muscle on.

I like to add mercury to my tuna fish. Albacore. Chunk White. Tend to eat it 3-5 times a week. Mix it with some miracle whip and onions and celery. Rocks all over the place.
