oh and is that not one shocker of a side kick? honestly, I have seen people do better side kicks than that on their first day of training. wouldnt want to leave your back exposed to your opponent, would ya? clowns.

Wow, Ben Stiller's doing a Karaddy (krotty) movie.

I wish we could still access my old thread with these guys' & bob klein's pics posted with captions. Of course, it was like 2 and a half years ago when we could still post pix.
What would happen if a year-old baby fell from a fourth-floor window onto the head of a burly truck driver, standing on the sidewalk?
It's practically certain that the truckman would be knocked unconscious. He might die of brain concussion or a broken neck.
Even an innocent little baby can become a dangerous missile WHEN ITS BODY-WEIGHT IS SET INTO FAST MOTION.

    A Truly Happy School

By clicking several times I found myself on this guys students' school site.
I have never seen such a group of happy students.
I don't understand how he teaches something that looks so hokey and yet seems to be so successful.
This is in CA. It seems that people could find out what MA and Shaolin really are.
So why does this school look so well off?

i had no idea there was a marked difference in the way ppl do splits cross-culturally....

and if THAT is a 'deep split' then i am truly a shaolin master

I'd say the FAQ page might provide a clue to this. Aside from not looking very skilled, they seem to have a pretty good attitude about what they're doing:

Gymnasts call North/South splits "Chinese" and East/West splits "American."

I hate to go against the grain but I think this is one of the best kung fu schools that I have ever seen!

At no point (if I read the web site right) are they under the misaprehention that they are going to become secret ninja killers and they are having fun.

Lack of self delusion + fun + saftey = good kung fu.
LOL.. really, what else did you hear?.. did you hear that he was voted Man of the Year by Kung-Fu Magizine?
