Lee Yuen Kam is much more well-known throughout the world by his chosen american name: Bruce Lee.

" Well, you just gotta get to their peaches before they get to yours."

I do not like the idea of anyone getting at my peaches.

7* has ruthlessly thrown the correct to the ground and proceeded to stomp its genitals.
On top of what he said, you must take into consideration that there is also northern mantis, which "differs in range" from southern mantis, but the southern mantis guy may like to kick for some reason...
And in my case, Im just going to try and get in to throw. Im not going to try and outbox a boxer. Thats my philosophy for fighting anyone. Loosen them, get in, throw.

    wait a minute....that doesn't sound right...
i'm nobody...i'm nobody. i'm a tramp, a bum, a hobo... a boxcar and a jug of wine... but i'm a straight razor if you get to close to me.

Bah, that would never work! The mantis practitioner would just leap about, avoiding the rapid attacks. Besides, use quick footwork, trap AND fire hard hitting hand strikes, why thats doing three things at once! Thats not normal! What sort of abnormal stratagy is that??? Huh? Why, you'd have to attack and defend simultanoiusly!!!

Style is only defined by the limitations of a system of fighting and defending. So when in medatation ask yourself not "what are the weaknesses of thine enemy" but rather so what are your own weaknesses

    Ohhh!!!!

    I get it.

    Its a joke.

If I was attacking then I'd be hit for being slow.

    ohh I'm so cheesy.

Lest people begin to believe all Kung Fu is BS... these guys show that Kung Fu peeps can fight if they're trained to fight.

*note, both of these clips, (the one Gene posted, and this one) are representative of Shaolin, not Mantis.
