The ready stance, is good with street fighting but has anyone trained with a Tang soo do master in JKD MA.

I use the ready stance from JKD in the beginning of a challenge of almost any kind except with more than 6 opponents then I use short-long dragon fist in a horse stance ( in and out of the stance not stationary ). I beat this dude before when me and my instructor visited his cousin who studies on natural weaknesses of the body. (He's currently writing a book called: Whats already harming your body from the inside-out.) I beat the dude and his partners, but i walked away with a briused cheek and a busted lip. I also got my leading foot stepped on. He was really good but I won't tell'm that. .
I was wondering who could better describe the half-beat so i can better understand a tag soo do practitioners rhythm.
Not trying to gt my stepped on in this dance.
