    TCM and a portable diet

    Hi,

I, like most people in this day and age, work a nine to five job in an office. Every day for lunch I eat a chicken and salad baguette and a small chocolate biscuit thing.

I've decided I need to change my lunch habits, mainly because these shop bought baguettes are costing me a fortune. So I was planning to start bringing my lunch into work.

Anyway, getting on to the bit that makes this relevant. From what I've read about TCM it seems that most of what I'd include in a packed lunch (Bread, raw salad & fruit) is 'undesirable'.

So I was wondering what kind of foods the TCM practitioners here would recommend that are quick to prepare, portable and fairly cheap.

Also, if anyone has some nice links to information about TCM and diet I'd be interested to learn more.

    Thanks in advance.

    Not much help but

From what I understand of TCM, the basic rules of diet are that the foods you eat depend on the season. Salads and fruit are fine in summer, but not in winter. Even then, the types of fruit and vegetable you eat depends on the season.

Other than that, I don't know much about the subject. Sorry.

Guns don't kill people, I kill people
