    Chicago folks: Buying a Staff?

Any suggestions on a place to buy a good staff in town? It can be either a high-quality traditional waxwood (like the CMA guys tend to use) or a high-quality hardwood (like the Aikido guys tend to use). In the past I've looked around and always left shaking my head at the crap that was being sold.

Come to think of it, I don't know of a single crap-free martial arts store. If I ever entered one, I think I might have a heart attack!

Just in case there aren't any suggestions feel free to suggest mail order/online places too. I will definately check out our sponsor of course!

My staff is nothing more than a 3 inch dowel that stands i hand above my head. Make sure you oil the staff twice a day for a week

Cost for dowel plus oil is under $ 10.00

Otherwise get a hold of Count. I think he has access to waxwood staffs

You're an official ****** *******, now that song is in my head! Heh, maybe it's in yours, too.

The Menards jingle is stronger than my kungfu.
