I was thinking the same thing.......I wish I understood what they were saying cos I'm especially curious to know what the Gwang Zhau SiFu discussed.
Any bi-lingual members willing to share with the rest of us a synopsis of the concepts he was explaining?
(It was a very interesting demo to watch.)
I don't think Wing Chun is so limited that I can't do it when I wrestle, box, kickbox, or fight by MMA rules, nor am I so limited a student that I can't improve by training in each of those forums. -Andrew S
A good instructor encourages his students to question things, think for themselves and determine their own solutions to problems. They give advice, rather than acting as a vehicle for the transmission of dogma.

do you have the direct link to the video?

Lo sifu is the student of my sibaksuk. I met him quite a few years ago in Ontario and have been visited by some of his students.
He's showing Kao Sao and what looks to be a variation of Chang Jeung. I am not a big fan of 'traditional' demos where the sifu doesn't show the posture (horse, elbows, etc.) and uses an out-of-range extended arm instead of a real attack, but I understand why that is, but it's interesting.
