"Who dies first," he mumbled through smashed and bloody lips.
Okay the conditions are they are on the street, no weapons whatsoever and no obstacles (eg. posts, curbs, boxes, whatever). And they are both in their prime condition (even though Ali didn't get to fight during his prime, we'll just assume what he'll be like).
So rediculous I won't even tell who wins by KO in the second.
I'll ask this though. Even with all these great UFC and Pride fighters... how many of them have gone to pro boxing to make some real money? How many martial artists do you know can handle the real boxer (not amatuer golden glove)?
I know one. He's about 6'1", 4th Dan in Isshinryu, and fights kickboxing when he's not being a cop. He's the one they call when they hafta deal with the real crazies and the drug heads.Originally posted by EvolutionFist

Aside from him, I don't know a whole lot that could.
I wish more martial artists would train half as hard as the average pro boxer. I like to think I trained close to about half, but only when I was managing my time to the minute.

Ali.
(Forgive me Xiao Luung. You told us to seek the truth.)
Master...Teach me kung fu.
"But Lee beat all the boxers he fought. Ask James Demile who was the army heavyweight champion."
lol. Serious bull ****. Bruce sparred against novel boxers...and this was after JAMEs DEMILE time...when he was training with the SEATTLE crew...he was mostly doing those trapping drills...it was impressive since westerners never experience WING CHUN before. He didn't really get serious sparring wise till after WONG MAN JACK...then he started getting into boxing. If Bruce fought any of those boxer champion...he would have gotten KTFO. He didn't have the condition during the Seattle years to last 1 round.
A
i'm of the opinion that bruce could have defeated a boxer in his own weight class... isn't that how the professionals do it.
Goddam Roy Jones Jr!!!!
I guess I'll have to take up Gilbert Godfrey as my idol now
for real though, thats a crying shame
CPA's current P4P List:
-Bas Rutten
-Captain Jack Sparrow
-Cindy Lauper
-Lester Moonvest
Good win for Tarver though:
Victory came at the right time. For Tarver (22-2, 18 knockouts), who recently filed for bankruptcy, the $2 million purse was his biggest payday of a pro career that began after he won a bronze medal in the 1996 Olympics.

could floyd mayweather defeat bruce lee?
I think the main problem is that Martial Artists aren't able to dedicate as much time to training as these professional guys can because they're actually making money out of it.Originally posted by EvolutionFist
