Question Healthy hair/ herbs / diet / qi gung?

I have a friend that has thin hair, of course a rasta budy suggests marijuana will help.

Does Chinese medicine have any herbs or diet recomendations to keep healthy hair or make think hair stronger?

Did some research. Found some believe saw palmetto works, as well as soy.

he shou wu is an herb readily available at the supermarket in the supplements section. It is supposed to be able to turn graying hair black.

Generally speaking, thin hair may be indicative of a kidney essence deficiency. Wild Yam (shan yao), sweet potato and wolfberry (gou qi zhi) all supplement the kidney yin.

Of supplements, inositol is said to thicken the hair. It is also readily available.

    good luck
