    "Sao Lim"

I was wondering if anyone has information on this style. It was brought to Singapore and Malaysia by a "Shaolin monk," Shi Gaocan. I was also wondering if there are any videos out there on the two main forms of the style

    - Luohan Quan (there's a book in English on it- Shaolin Lohan Kung Fu)
    - Yizhimei Quan (no idea)

    Thank you

It just sounds like another way of saying Shaolin. There's a video of a Luohan Quan form being sold on martialartsmart.com. Plumpub.com probably has one or two vcds also. I don't know what Yizhimei Quan is.

also known as Se Ko Sam

the monk Lim Ah Hong was known widely throughout southeast asia as a Buddhist monk until his death in and around 1961.

He imparted kungfu and buddhist lessons for most of his life.

There is a style called "sao lim" (apparently this is how it's said in malaysia.

This is the place where the particular spelling "Sao Lim" comes from.
There are several schools in Malaysia and Singapore (and all over the world now) that emerged from the teachings of Shi Gao Can.
