my wifes' brother is going to flip. Not only is he a huge Frank Miller fan, but the guy in that preview lives here in uptown in minneapolis. Apparently he and my wife's brother used to cross paths a lot.

I'd tell you to go to hell, but I work there and don't want to see you everyday.
Well, I was worried they'd lose the only part of the comic that had any charm for me whatsoever - Frank Miller's art. But, it appears that they're trying to integrate it in there with stills and animation. Still, it's just going to be redundant since the drawn stuff isn't offering any new information from the live-action.
A real waste of time, money and effort, as far as I can see. Plus, the ridiculously misogynistic/S&M enthusiast tone comes off a lot more creepy when it's presented in live action. In ink it seemed like self parody. Here it seems genuinely fu(ked in the head.

"It is the same in all wars; the soldiers do the fighting, the journalists do the shouting, and no true patriot ever get near a front-line trench, except on the briefest of propoganda visits...Perhaps when the next great war comes we may see that sight unprecendented in all history, a jingo with a bullet-hole in him."
First you get good, then you get fast, then you get good and fast.
Tarantino is directing one scene of the movie for $1, in repayment for Rodriguez doing the musical score for Kill Bill (also for $1).
