    So, I'm gonna get beat up pretty bad tonight.

    I'm going to start training again after about a 2 1/2 month lay off. I've done no cardio, no bagwork, no nothing the whole time. I pretty much sat around in a depression drinking too much and smoking too many blunts.

    I'm slow and lazy, I have no cardio, and my lungs are scorched. In addition, my coach is training for the Ironheart in November, and when he trains for a fight, we ALL train for a fight.

    Man, I'm gonna go through Hell tonight. Everyone's gonna take advantage and whoop on me and then laugh about it

    I know how you feel. ive been delaying going to training for the same reasons. its getting too long now so its sunday for certain.

    Honestly dude, if this is your first day back, id suggest taking it a little easy. I was sick for one month (august) and when I came back it was like I hadnt trained for a year. And I didnt smoke any blunts (but plenty from the ol pipe ) and I didnt drink at all. Your cardio will have gone WAAAAY down hill.
    Glad to hear you are getting back into it however. As bad as it may feel, itll feel just as good.

    have you ever seen me fight? I have never met you so that would be quite an assmuption wouldnt you ?

    What makes you think I cant? I grew up in the streets holmes. thats why I started taking matial arts. I've been stabbbed and shot. someone gets shot every day where I grew up so dont assume anything. Ive been doing this for a long time.

    Someone gets shot every day in any major city. Sometimes several people are shot not only in a day, but in an hour. Same goes for stabbing.

    alot of us grew up in the streets. That doesn't really attest to anything skillwise. Not saying you can't fight, as I've never seen you, but "growing up in the streets" doesn't really validate anything, "holmes"...

    WTF does growing up in the streets have to do with anything? Why do you thing murder rates are so high in the cities? It's because little punks can't fight but want to be hard. They want respect, but can't command it.

    Yeah, I grew up in the streets too. I'm still there, but I'm not talking about how hard I am. I'm a grown man. I'm past all that. I don't need to prove myself.

    I'm talking about things like getting involved in the political process to take down a Machine. I'm talking about volunteering my time with the youth to keep them off the streets. Help them avoid the same mistakes I made. I'm talking about trying to use my education and experience to make life a little brighter for the people.

    You just don't get it man.

    And can we got back on the topic: The nasty beating I'm gonna take tonight?
