Anyway, Chris, are you certain you really want to defend in anyway the ideology of the reform party? Or the conservative party, or whatever they have decided to call themselves this month? Really, if not for the Liberal party, there wouldn't be anything close to conservatism practiced in Canada.

Did anybody ever hear of strategy. I think some of the people commenting are one dimensional thinkers and always go for the first fake through the line. Iraq is part of a Gulf strategy. Nobody is going to stop terrorism unless we can neutalize the Israel/Palestinian conflict. You can't have a guy over there sterring it up like Sadam was.
