favorite taji website for a noob

What's your favorite? I would like to read up on tai chi and get an understanding of how it relates to other MA. What is tai chi all about? How is it similar and different to other MA. Thanks

    My $.02?

I will stae my position clearly to reveal my bias.

To my thinking (and I've spent a fair amount of time researching and reflecting) is that all authentic taiji as we know it is a derivative of chen village practices, so why not check out the source.

Of course that is my favorite because I get to make changes to it, but at least you can see some people getting dropped and twisted which has some value.

Peter Lim's site is one of the best sites for people new to the art that I have seen. Lots of good info and translations, especially on the Yang derivitives.
I have no idea what WD is talking about.--Royal Dragon

My friend, Ted Knecht, has some good articles translated on the website below and follows the traditional line of Yang Cheng Fu through the late Fu Zhong Wen and Mei Ying Sheng.

The articles on the spear and weapons training on the site below I found to be worth reading, especially the big spear:

The history amd artoc;e section are nice to know:
