Yet another sucker fight between two punks.

This reminds of a simple fact. ANY martial art is effective against the average stupid punk azz.

The blonde kid was living up to his hair color.

The other guy grabbed him and he winced immediatly. Blood in the water.

The blonde kid is a douchebag, but he in no way deserved the beating put down on him by the skilled bjj guy.

this guy is practically lynched by the bjj community online (go to any bjj forum and you'll see them trashing this guy) for bullying this kid into a fight that he didn't want to be a part of.

he got into a fight in the water.. they broke his board.. they should have let him leave.

He could have arm barred him if he wanted, but I guess he just wanted to beat him down a lot.

that was an uncalled for whooping.....

I used to bodyboard and Kainoa was one of my favorite riders...

Also how the video listen one of the reasons he got bombed on was he "kept on going"....putting your hands up to gaurd against some fist falling at your head is hardly provoking anything.

That was disgusting... a trained fighter beating on a kid relentlessly. I'm glad the BJJ community is after this guy; that was assault, plain and simple.

Why is the attacker not in jail? The proof is now posted all over the internet that he repeatedly assaulted that kid (and NOT in self defense) and destroyed private property (the surfboard). The kid should take him to court.

And WTF is up with everyone watching it like it's a friggin' volleyball game or somethin'? I didn't see anyone trying to stop what was happening. Stupid & sad.

    Stupid fcuks

That someone taped the whole thing and then put it on the net...

That no one tried to break it up...

That people were cheering and laughing...

That people took pictures of the kid and laughed at him while doing so...

These 4 reasons give Americans a bad name around the world. I know the fcukers on the tape don't give a sh.it about that, but maybe they should. Of course, this could have happened anywhere, but it's the arrogant attitude that really stands out. It would equally dumb to judge more than a few people because of this, but when crap like that (not the actual fight, but what I just listed) happens enough times, it gets labeled.

Mind you, to me the US is a second home, but I am just saying...

Don't let this sh.it happen where you roam...

Man I'm dumb, I meant side mount to mount, not side mount to guard. Too bad when you change a subject on here after people have replied it doesn't show up on the main forum. See for yourself. Look at the subject in the thread and then look at it on the forum. It will be different.

What exactly qualifies as the guard? We don't use the same terminology when we grapple.

    Serpent,

The guard (and all it's variants) occurs when you are lying on the ground and have an opponent between your legs.

closed guard, open guard, 1/2 guard, butterfly guard, spider guard, x guard, high guard, rubber guard, crab guard,..
