Martial Arts on Steve Harvey's talent shows

Kama on Steve Harvey's Big Time

Last night (episode 208 according to the website) some guys doing Kamas won the popularity portion of the show. It was an odd act, sort of like Chippendales doing stunt kama. They were up against some balck country line/hip hop dancers and a set of east European blonde triplet violinists. I thought the violinists should have won.

Also caught a martial arts segment on Sagwa which showed Tai Chi, Karate, and Capoeira. It was a very odd day of TV, since both programs I caught just by just flipping on the tube...

The triplets totally should have won

Here's a link to episode 207 with a pic of the triplets. I really wasn't that into the kama team - they had some odd name. I think they were second time winners, which confuses me since the triplets were obviously on the previous episode. Note that this is the first time I've ever watched that show, so I'm not sure how the talent contest portion works exactly.

Didn't see that episode, but did happen to catch some guys showing off their "iron" skills, although not one of them called it that. They actually had SH kick one of the guys in the groin! And then they had him full on punch the other guy in the solar plexus.
Although neither of them flinched, I had a hard time figuring out exactly what style of MA they were touting.

I would have voted for them even if they weren't naked.

    (saw the commercial only....sad)

    too true...

if people just got out of their comfort zone for just alil while they'd be better for it.

i think thats the point of alot of life lessons.

but dude! its a rappin reggae rabbi....

he even had his own band and his cd is out now. gotta go cop it to support that man. the dream mustn't die! lol

id rather see him on mtv than 99...no no....100% of artists on now. why dont they take the extra step and call themselves the shamelessly exploiting half naked teenagers who probably should spend less time tryin to be on tv and more time in skool since half of them can't find america on a map making our nation pretty much screwed...um.....television.....

and all the music we do actually play in between pointless shows further brainwashing kids is mainstream garbage since we dont actually have the ballz to be about the music.

    end rant~

That was some hot reggae - here's his site. Now if he only had blonde triplets as back up singers and if they all used kamas....
