You know I've never actually had eggnog before. Is there alcohol in it? What does it taste like? Some of my friends like it. Why do they only drink it at Christmas time?

You can put whiskey or amber rum in Egg Nog and it tastes better than without the booze.
It's only available at Christmas to prevent every person with a sweet tooth of dying of clogged arteries in mid-June when decaying bodies begin to smell faster.

IF, it's basically milk and eggs w/ cinnamon, nutmeg and maybe cloves in it...all blended up of course. I've never made it from scratch though my grandpa did....something to resurrect this year, maybe.
I've tried it w/ rum and brandy but prefer it w/ whiskey.
Beam 7 Year or smoother. A rough whiskey doesn't taste so good in it even though the milk smooths it out.
