    My roommate has these, was wondering if I could do stonelock workouts with them.

    I've worked with those once before. I don't know if it was the way they are made or the way this place maintained them, but I wouldn't feel safe doing any ballistic movements with them or lifting them above my head.

    I don't see why not. I've been known to use a french curl bar on occasion and old tires on others.

    I've been tossing around the idea of using a clothes detergent bottle as stone locks. You could fill it with, water, sand, gravel or concrete. Thoughts?

    ok, I got turned off immediately by the Alan Parson's project music.


    CF, that sounds like a decent idea for low tech KB's...I'm gonna give it a shot...except you couldn't get it but so heavy...water will just be about 9 lbs. to the gallon....you could use sand mix and fill it with that and it would be heavier.
