    The Battle of Detroit

For anyone interested. There will be demos the first day and our group will be doing a Lion Dance as well. Some of the proceeds will go to help people with no medical coverage.

    Hey Phil,

What are these "musical weapons" that are mentioned on the poster. Is it like "dueling banjos", or something? How about "fighting flutes"??

Sorry for the bad puns. I just couldn't resist. Although I probably should have.

Seriously though, good luck with this charity event. Now that we have all seen what we can do with the Tsunami relief, we should not forget about those people, in our own backyard, who could use a helping hand.

    Peace,

That's really cool. I wouldn't mind *sparring* with Vera VanGuard.

Thanks All. Thank God I'm a Vietnam Vet and have VA medical benefits. Some are not that lucky.

I forget the exact figures. About 1/3 of Arizonans do not have reliable medical insurance coverage.

    Phil,
That sounds like a heck of a price to pay for medical benefits.

If I lived in Kanata I wouldn't have to worry about that

True. And by the way, you're always welcome in Kanata.

I'm there (Windsor,), a few times a week. But I really love T.O. It reminds of of NYC, only cleaner. I always keep a few Toonies in my pocket.

    Hey Bill
    Do you live in Kanata?
I just moved there towards the end of Nov.
Me and a few of the guys from class went to O'Connor's pub with your sifu last Tues night. It was fun hearing stories about Sigung and Moy Yat.
    Fun stuff.

    Hey Jeff,

No, but I work there though. I live in the Market.
Yeah, Sifu certainly enjoys talking Wing Chun.
Hopefully we can get together some time. PM me.
