    Mantis development

I read part of an article by Wei Hsiao Tang on an 8 step web site that stated that the Northern mantis system started with:

    Bi Men ( Mi Men)

    then

    Shuai Shou (wrestling hands)

    then

having seven star being developed in the early 1900's

    My questions are:

Is it true that seven star was developed in the early 1900's?

Is this wrestling hands system really older than seven star?

Where can I find information on the wrestling hands system?

    Thanks

Guess we should get back on topic or face the wrath of BTL.

Sorry sayloc, can't help you with your questions. I can tell you that Wrestling Hands is the system of Mantis that was incorporated into the Wah Lum system. We know it as Jut Sow Mantis. Since our history is not well documented I have no idea when it originated.

    OK you got mail guys

Did a search on Jut Sow (Shuaishou). Not much time to invest in tonight, so I of course picked an old thread by Mantis 108 "Some thoughts on the term Shuaishou". Please read this thread gentlemen. Interesting info on the relationship between Meihwa and Shuaishou. Wish I had more time to search this out... I`m packing for a trip. Geeez, why isn`t anybody sending me mail!
