    NO this was a much older non jew baiter movie.

    The story of spartacus has been connected to the story of jesus for some time by some schools of thought. So many paralells in the two that there are many who say the Spartacus story is the real one and the jesus story is a myth based upon it.

    I personally prefer neither and essentially see the people of 2000 years ago for what they were. Living in the past.
